Traditionally, green jasper was used to treat chest complaints and bring rain during periods of drought. Its focus is on the physical and emotional heart, as well as the lungs, and it nurtures and facilitates emotional support. Physically, it strengthens the immune system and treats upper respiratory complaints, including infection and asthma, and it is gentle enough to use on the heart (organ) in treatment. The included chlorite calms and clears skin complaints, including eczema, and thus a tree jasper gem essence can be used bathe the affected area.
