Blue Mist Quartz

Extraordinary quartz points from La Belleza area, Santander District, Colombia. The tips are very clear, while the main body of the crystal has a misty appearance with slightly pale blue cast (from included microscopic gas or liquid particles). Some have yellow-orange at the base, probably from limonite or similar iron oxide mineral.
