Scheelite stimulates the Sacral Chakra, and connects with the Crown and Third Eye Chakras. It encourages spiritual and psychic openness, while at the same time creating a strong connection with the physical body and the Earth. This makes it an excellent crystal for astral travel and shamanic journeying, opening us to the exploration of worlds beyond ourselves, while providing a safe tether to return by. It can also help restore energy when feeling low and depleted. Some may find the powerful energy too strong for quiet meditation, but others will find it useful in quieting and centring the mind – it is like holding a cool flame, and in this way, can be used as a point of focus (like staring at a candle flame).

Mineralogy:
- Scheelite is calcium tungstate – a major source of tungsten. It most commonly occurs in contact with metamorphic deposits and high-temperature hydrothermal veins, more rarely in granite pegmatites. Crystals are usually bipyramidal and twinned, but it may also form massively or as granular aggregates. Colour may be white, yellow, brown or green.
