Properties: Staurolite is a gentle grounding and shielding crystal, and because of its cruciform shape, was traditionally used for protection and good luck. It is considered to be an excellent stress reliever and mood-lifter. It can create a connection between the physical and astral planes, and provides a balance between the two, and can also help organise thought patterns and ideas. It is sometimes used by those attempting to give up smoking, as smoking is often a means of keeping grounded.
