Protection

Black or deep red crystals, associated with the Root or Base Chakra, are all considered to be protective, as the more grounded and present you are, the less vulnerable you are. Black tourmaline is one of the best protection stones, and if it occurs with a coating of mica, it will reflect negative energy back to its source, allowing it to act as a lesson for the sender. Hematite has a similar reglective quality. Minerals associated with the Sacral or Navel Chakra (orange) and the Solar Plexus (yellow or gold) are also highly protective.

As the list of possible protection crystals is vast, we are only making a few suggestions in this section.

Traditional Turkish blue glass eye, for protection against "bad eye", or jealousy. In the past, Turks would also wear attractive and sparkly jewellery to draw the attention of "bad eye" away from themselves.

Hang the smaller ones on bag straps, all sizes can be used around the entrance to your home.
