This is our favourite book on crystal healing, although some might find it a bit "wordy". Gienger has a background in science, and has researched the properties of the crystals thoroughly with his healing group. Much of the book discusses the formation of rocks and minerals, as well as crystallography, and applications in healing. The last third of the book is given over to the crystals themselves, with beautiful photographs and lots of information. The only critisism is that the final section should be longer, with more crystals!
This book is well-presented, with beautiful photographs and a lot of information. Many of the crystals appear under new "esoteric" names, making identification somewhat difficult.
The classic crystal healing reference book from the early 1990s. This book is huge and comprehensive, leaving out only a very few minerals, but unfortunately it contains no photographs for identification.
